As the
world of fine art painting spins with issues of appropriation,
authenticity, theft of intellectual property and advances of
reproduction technology fuel suspicions of doubt, as to what is
genuine.
The
objects I have created are my metamorphic statements of my creative
awareness, a visual language well beyond plagiarism even by myself.
It has been said of firing with wood, that its' 'the art of
uncertainty' few art practices' after creation, submit their
artworks to such high risk and such extremes of temperatures. The
multitude of variables in this form of firing Technique, the choice
clays, fuels, kiln atmospheres Even local weather conditions
influence the result.
I can
reassure you that these works are unique.
